Mick and Tom both applied for the same job. Since both applicants had similar qualifications, they were asked to take a test by the interviewer.
When the results were in, both men had scored 19 out of 20. The interviewer went to Mick and said, “Thank you for coming to the interview, but we’ve decided to give the job to Tom.”
Mick said, “Why? We both got 19 questions correct.” The interviewer said, “We made our decision not on the correct answers, but on the question you got wrong. On question number 7, Tom wrote down, ‘I’m sorry, I don’t know the answer to this.’ You wrote down, ‘Neither do I.’”
